Deshratna Sheel Bhadra Yajee was a freedom fighter, eminent social thinker and a prolific writer, besides being a close associate of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
His life was an example of supreme sacrifice, selfless service, unflinching dedication to high moral values and ideals and service to the cause of the nation and the downtrodden people.
